Where are saved videos on TikTok?
On TikTok, tap Profile and open the tab with the bookmark icon: that's Favorites, where your saved videos are. Likes are in the heart tab, and downloaded videos go to your phone's gallery.
Step by step
- On TikTok, tap Profile, in the bottom right corner.
- Open the tab with the bookmark icon: those are your Favorites.
- Choose the videos tab (or the collections tab, if you sorted your videos into collections).
Saving, liking and downloading go to different places
“I saved a TikTok” can mean three things, and each one puts the video in a different place:
- Bookmark (Favorites): Profile → bookmark tab. Only you can see it.
- Heart (likes): Profile → heart tab. Others may be able to see it, depending on your privacy settings.
- Save video (download): the file goes to the Photos app on iPhone or the gallery on Android, when the creator allows downloads.
Your Favorites also include sounds, effects and hashtags. If the list looks empty, make sure you're on the videos tab.
Video not in your Favorites?
- Check that you're on the right account, if you have more than one.
- Check your likes and, if you sent the video to someone, the conversation.
- Look in your watch history: Profile → ☰ → Your activity → Watch history.
If the video is gone from every list, the creator may have deleted it or made it private. Saving keeps a shortcut, not a copy.
Found the list, but not the video?
With dozens of Favorites, scrolling the list gets tiring. See how to search your Favorites using the creator and a detail from the video. And so you don't have to go through this again, organize your Favorites into collections.
