How to organize saved TikTok videos
In Profile → Favorites → Collections, create a few collections named for how you'll use them, like “Weekly recipes” or “Home workout.” For future videos, choose the collection when you add them to Favorites.
Step by step
- Open Profile → Favorites and tap Collections.
- Tap to create a collection, name it for how you'll use it and choose the videos that go in it.
- For future videos, after adding one to Favorites, tap the prompt that appears and choose the collection.
Collections that answer a question
“What should I cook today?” is a better question to organize around than “which videos did I like?” Create a few collections, named for how you'll use them:
- To do: “Weekly recipes,” “Home workout.”
- To study: “English — pronunciation,” “Video editing.”
- For a plan: “Trip to Floripa,” “Christmas gifts.”
If the collection button doesn't show up in your version of the app, update TikTok. Don't install extensions or hand over your password to organize videos.
What about the Favorites that have already piled up?
- Pick something you need right now, like this weekend's recipe.
- Set aside the videos on that subject as they turn up, without trying to sort all of them.
- Repeat the next time you look for something. In a few weeks, what you use will already be in place.
When a subject spans more than one network
