How to find the Reels you saved on Instagram
Tap your profile picture, the ☰ menu and Saved: that's where every Reel and post you saved is, under All posts and in your collections. On a computer, open your profile and the Saved tab. To find a specific Reel, start with the collection or the creator.
Step by step
- On Instagram, tap your profile picture in the bottom right corner.
- Tap the menu ☰, at the top, and then Saved.
- Open All posts to see everything, or the collection for the topic, and tap the Reel.
On a computer
On instagram.com, open your profile and the Saved tab, which only you can see. The list and collections are the same as on your phone: Saved lives in your account, not on the device.
How to find a specific Reel in Saved
Saved has no search of its own and shows the most recently saved items first. These clues cut down the scrolling:
- The collection: if you set up “Recipes” or “Travel”, the list drops from hundreds to dozens of items.
- The timing: remember when you saved it? Scroll to that point, because the order follows the day you saved it, not the day it was posted.
- The creator: open the profile of whoever posted it and look in the Reels tab, a much shorter list than Saved.
To use Instagram's search with a detail from the video, see how to search your saved Reels.
Not in Saved?
Saving, liking and watching leave the Reel in different places. Likes are in ☰ → Your activity → Likes. What you only watched shows up in your Reels watch history, following the guide to find a video you saw.
If the Reel was deleted or the account went private, it stops showing up in Saved. Saved it many months ago? Follow the walkthrough to find an old saved Reel.
When you only remember what was said
Saved keeps the cover and the link, not what the video teaches. If all you remember is a phrase, see how to find a Reel by what was said.
