How to organize the places you saved in Reels
Create one collection per city or trip, like “Recife — July” or “Downtown cafés”, and save the place's name and neighborhood with it. Before you go, confirm the address and opening hours on the place's own profile or website.
Step by step
- In Instagram's Saved, create one collection per city or trip: “Recife — July”, “Cafés in BH”.
- When you save a place, write down its name and neighborhood, because the video doesn't always show them.
- Before you go, check the address and opening hours on the place's own profile or website.
Sort by city, not by type
A “Places” collection mixes the café near your home with the hike for next year's trip. Sorting by city or trip makes choosing easy when the time comes: you open “Recife — July” and see only what's useful for that trip.
Start with your next outing. You don't need to organize every city you might visit someday.
What to save about each place
- Name and branch: a chain can have several locations in the same city.
- Neighborhood: helps you group the places for one outing.
- The reason: the dish in the video, the view, the exhibit.
- What to check: reservations, hours, prices.
A Reel from two years ago may show a menu or a price that has since changed. Use the video to choose and the place's profile to confirm.
Places right on the map
In KeepScroll, the places mentioned in the video appear in a list, and one tap opens each one in Maps. A video with “5 burger joints in São Paulo” becomes five addresses ready for your outing.
If you remember the place but not the video, search by neighborhood or dish: see how to find a saved video without remembering its name. To bring together Reels, TikToks and YouTube videos from the same trip, see how to organize videos from several networks.
