Where saved posts are on Threads
In the Threads app, open your profile, tap the menu (the two lines at the top) and then Saved. On a computer, at threads.com, Saved and Likes are in the menu and can be turned into columns next to the feed.
Step by step
- In the Threads app, open your profile.
- Tap the menu (the two lines in the top right corner).
- Tap Saved. On a computer, at threads.com, Saved and Likes are in the menu and can be turned into columns next to the feed.
Saving, liking and following are different
- Save: keeps the post in your Saved list. Only you can see it.
- Like: goes to Likes, which is in the same menu.
- Feeds: follow accounts or topics and change all the time; they don't save anything.
If you only read the post, it isn't on any list. Search for the author or the topic in Threads search.
Was the idea in a reply?
The useful information is often in a reply, not in the first post. When you find the conversation, open it and check that part. A quote from another profile can add an opinion that wasn't in the original: check who said what.
Is it gone?
If the author deleted the post or made their profile private, it disappears from Saved. Saving keeps a shortcut, not a copy. If the post cited a source, look up the source directly.
Finding it later
Threads' Saved section is a single list, ordered by when you saved each post. The guide to organizing saved conversations shows how to sort them by project. For other text-based networks, see Bookmarks on X and Saved on Bluesky.
