Where saved videos are on Facebook
In the Facebook app, tap the ☰ menu and then Saved: that's where the videos, Reels, posts and links you saved are, sorted by collection. On a computer, Saved is in the left column.
Step by step
- In the Facebook app, tap the menu ☰ (on iPhone, in the bottom-right corner).
- Tap Saved.
- Open the collection for the topic or the full list. On a computer, Saved is in the left column.
What's in Saved
The list mixes videos, Reels, posts, links and Marketplace listings you saved. If it's long, use the collections you created or the page filters to see only videos.
Not there?
- Liked it instead of saving it: liking doesn't keep the video. Go back to the page or profile that posted it and search by topic.
- Sent it to someone: look in the Messenger or WhatsApp chat.
- It was from a group: if you left the group, or the group became private, the video disappears for you.
- It was deleted: if the person who posted it removed the video, it won't come back.
Saved isn't a download
Saving keeps a shortcut inside Facebook, not a file on your phone. A downloaded video, when Facebook allows it, goes to the Photos app or the gallery.
Once you find it, organize
A collection like “Sunday recipes” saves you the next search. See how to organize videos into collections. If you think you saw the video on Instagram, see how to find a video you saw there.
